EvanTheCubers 3x3 and 4x4 Progress Thread. | 3x3 Green Cross Week 2 Day 1

I decided to make a progress thread because I want to improve at cubing and I felt progress was a little slow. This is about me and my goals for the summer.


3x3 About Me Sub 20, CFOP, GAN 356 XS, Working on Full PLL and onto Full OLL.

3x3 Goals: Sub 13, Color Neutral, Fast F2l, Full PLL & OLL

4x4 About Me: Sub: 2 min 15, Yau Method, 3-2-3 edge pairing, Moyu Aosu Gts 2m

4x4 Goals: Sub 1 min and Faster White cross edges and centers(they take up at least 1 min 30 of my time)\

I'm going to get the MGC Elite 2x2 and 5x5 next week, and I will update my thread when they arrive .

Trying to get used to doing the white edges before the 4 centers.

I'm going to do an Average of 5 on White(My Main Color) and then do an average of 5 on Green and see how much of a difference there is

Just grind solves. You can either go one color at a time(starting with yellow) or just do them all at once(never using white)

New Green Cross Pb

When I am color neutral, I just say the color of the cross again and again and it helps. I don't have to do that anymore, but I have to do it for red cross. So when I am done with the cross color, in this case, red, I say red, red, red, again and again quietly, and it gives a nice rhythm and helps find F2L edges faster.

@Spacey10 tried that for orange cross (its 90% of the way there), and I did better than before! Nice tip

Update: did around 500 solves on green cross, finished it now working on blue cross.
