[Member Intro] I’m new to this and my average is about 1 min 35 seconds

I am not saying that he cheated, but there is a chance that he deleted bad solves / skipped through the scrambles until there was a good one for a lot of solves. I will believe him if I see him get at least a sub 9 average in comp.

But anyway let's stop clogging this member intro we can debate in the 'cfop vs roux debate thread'
I don’t think he does that seeing he has made videos on the fact that you should treat practice as close to a comp as possible also he won’t get a sub 9 average in comp as he has quit Competive Speedcubing basically due to the fact he cant deal with nerves from what I know. I will no leave any more messages as you make a valid point that we are cloggping up this thread

I love reading these. I understand very little but I still like to read them

Another three-page member intro of "CFOP is the best" page-filler garbage. PLEASE just stop and let people choose what method they want. I like how everyone supports @PetrusQuber and then the same people hate on other methods. He might not even be using Petrus if he was persuaded by the CFOP supremacists (check his intro).

To be honest I like reading to see what other people think and hearing their advice helps me think of what I should choose. I know nothing about this stuff and I joined like yesterday. It’s cool.

It's nice the first few times but gets annoying after reading pages of "CFOP is the best!"

CFOP is better for big cubes and megaminx, CFOP is easier to learn after using LBL, Roux is arguably equal to CFOP for 3x3, Roux is potentially better for one-handed. End of discussion.

It has not been that way, there have been people arguing for both sides, not just CFOP. Roux and CFOP are equal for 3x3 so if you only want to do 3x3, go with whichever is more fun to you. If you want to be fast at 4x4 through 7x7, you should choose CFOP. If you want to be world class for OH, Roux might be the best option, as it seems like a better method for OH, but CFOP still holds the world records for OH.

Yeah. Somehow that gets stretched over 3 pages... Also, with more development, people could probably create equal methods for big cubes.

I doubt the difference in inferior and superior will affect anybody not looking to become world class. I will say it again, do what you find fun.

Also, mind wipe time. Don’t talk about what somebody’s said in the past. Forget the Roux vs CFOP argument. If you start it up now, your problem and you agree to be shouted at, and to not do it in here. Just do it like when people started debating about Gan, and Prostar created a new thread instead of clogging the Upcoming Puzzles thread.
