How do I do EO

@WarriorCatCuber
I know sort of how to do EOLine, but it generally ends up more like LineEO, so I’m afraid if I explain, I‘ll get it all wrong.

I know some really short explanation but it is accurate : "you just do some moves that orients the edges to get a rotationless F2L."
but hey, its at least accurate right?

ok, now I'm not kidding and trying to explain it as accurate as I know, I know that people who does ZZ wayyy better than me is going to criticize me for putting no effort at all.
just watch JPerm's video.

In the ZZ method tutorial, In the beginning, he explains EO clearly.

Ok I think I am not being so serious.

Lar's tutorial is also pretty good, just a few things you might have to clear up, but otherwise good.

No, Lars' tutorial is just about the worst one you could reccomend, short of a 4lll tutorial. He specifically said ZZ EO, and reading Lars' tutorial (or any Petrus EO tutorial) would only confuse him. Petrus EO is different from ZZ EO.

It's really not. I've only learned Petrus EO but if I just do Lars' method on both sides it's ZZ. Lars' tutorial is pretty broad, and boils down to this: If you can use <RU> moves (just add L and optionally F2/B2/D for ZZ) to pair up the edge with the correct center (only RU centers, or RUL in ZZ), it's oriented.

If you do Lars's method on both sides, it's ZZ but terrible. You're spending three moves to fix two bad edges, as opposed to one move to fix four bad edges in standard ZZ.
Sorry, I was talking about recog, which is usually what people most often struggle with.

Why only D2? Any kinds of D moves preserve EO.
