Hello,
I'm 55 years old and I have gotten back into cubing. I had my first cube in 1982 and finished last in a cubing contest at our high school talent show. Two years ago, my nephew got me interested in cubing again and I've been doing it ever since. My best 3x3 time is 19.25 seconds but I average in the upper 20s. Over the last month, I've taught myself M2/OP on the 3x3. I have two successful blind solves. I'm slow but I continue to improve. I'm starting to get bored with OP for corners so I'm looking into other methods. 3-style for corners is really confusing at the moment, but so was F2L, M2, and Square-1, so I'm sure I'll get there eventually. Anyway, I love the levels of complexity hidden in the cube and it's been a fun new hobby.
Alfred
