Hello,

I'm new to cubing, but I love it! I would like to compete with locals near me. I am in Houston, Texas. Anyone else in Texas?

*Sad music* Come back! You quit the first day on the forums? How could you... If you bump into this post by chance, just give the forums one more try.

@ProStar
You know, I wonder why so many people make accounts and never do anything. Most never post, which is like the sole reason that you join, and those who do generally only do an intro and then leave. Which is why speedsolving.com has around 35K members, but only a hundredish active at any time.

I wonder how long I’ll last...
Ima set a reminder for 5 years later right now in fact, to get back into cubing if I quit and visit this forum again.

Hm... I'm setting a reminder for 1 year, and will do so(hopefully) for each year after that. Just in case I leave the forums/cubing :)

Honestly there's only like 30 people actively posting right now, with a few that occasionally check in now and then

But imagine if 35K people were posting... That would be around 3 posts per second if I’ve calculated correctly...

You got it backwards. If all 39,152 forum members posted once per day(spaced out evenly), then there would be about 1 post every 3 seconds
