Cool, I’ve been to one(Puzzling Pakenham 2019) and am going to Melbourne Summer so see you there. I’ll probably go to more comps because I have cubing friends from school that can always give me a ride.ive been to 1, Melbourne Cube Days 2019. I only have one cubing friend at school and he is becoming less and less interested in cubing. I made a 2 at a comp but cannot contact them in any wayCool, I’ve been to one(Puzzling Pakenham 2019) and am going to Melbourne Summer so see you there. I recommend you get one. Squan was one of my favorite events after I got the YLM.I don't have a square-1
I am learning to solve it now. Currently im stuck on the last edges and PARITY. Any tips on learning parity?I recommend you get one. Squan was one of my favorite events after I got the YLM.
That's cool that you're learning squan!! A tip I have for parity is that when you have it on the bottom, instead of equator flipping, try this: (0,2)/(0,1){PARITY}(0,2)/(0,-2)I am learning to solve it now. Currently im stuck on the last edges and PARITY. Any tips on learning parity?
Those are like literally my favorite eventsI live in Ottawa and once I got really excited since there was a comp in montreal, and then I realised it only had feet, square-1, clock and blindfolded. I know none of those events.
It's not that I dislike those events, it's that I don't own clock or square-1, I can't do blindfolded, and I don't want to do feet. Those are like literally my favorite events
Square 1 is very fun. I have realised it is better than a cube designed to be chucked at a wall. Thats for skewbI mean, you could do feet. I love square-1, though. I definitely recommend getting into it. I also recommend using this tutorial:
I’ve judged an NAR before. That was something. It was the final solve of one of Nicolas Naing’s megaminx avg NARs earlier this year.UPDATE : I've bought a squan and a clock, and clock is now one of my favourite cubes. I also went to a competition, and I would 100% recommend it too anyone who can make the cutoff. You get to meet famous cubers, I met Patrick Ponce, and I also got to judge an NR!
I have to admit, it was kind of frustrating because he was so busy yelling YES and taking pictures I couldn't get him to sign the paper lol.I’ve judged an NAR before. That was something. It was the final solve of one of Nicolas Naing’s megaminx avg NARs earlier this year.
Nicolas was so chill it literally wasn’t a problem. He just breaks records and says nothing.I have to admit, it was kind of frustrating because he was so busy yelling YES and taking pictures I couldn't get him to sign the paper lol.
