Long story short, I cannot turn a cube well. Period.
I have been cubing for about 3 years now. I have only gotten really into it this year. I average just around 20 to sub-20 on 3x3.
Almost every PLL I do in a solve will lock up horribly, or the execution will be about 3-4 seconds long at best. I often find the cube slipping out of my hand as well. My turning feels impeded by something. I am trying my absolute hardest to turn as accurately as I can, yet I find myself constantly overshooting or barely making the turn at all.
I know that it is (probably) not the cube.
I use a GTS3M that many people have said feels amazing. It couldn't be the cube.
I know that it is not my lookahead.
I have no trouble with that, and I imagine that that will just get better normally, with practice. And it has, predictably.
I know that it is (probably) not my fingertricks.
I have watched countless videos on fingertricks, and I can tell you right now that for most of the algs, I am using the best fingertricks. The problem is that I cannot do many of them for whatever reason. Like my hands just wont let me. I cannot do a right-handed U2 flick without the cube slipping from my hands. I cannot do a flicked F2 with the right hand either.
I do try to turn slower that I normally can, to aid lookahead and make it easier on my hands.
Yet the problem persists.
COULD THIS JUST BE DUE TO MY HANDS? IS THIS JUST HOW IT WILL BE FOR ME? ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?
