How to improve at 3x3

Hello, I joined speedsolving in June. I successfully learned full PLL, 2 look OLL and F2L. I average around 23-26 now. Should I learn full OLL, purely practice or learn a different algorithm set like VHF2L? I also want to know the tricks to learn an algorithm set efficiently. Thanks.

I am not experienced in any way now averaging 1 min, I only learned 4look last layer a few days ago, did that in 1 day, I found that looking at the cube and understanding what u are doing goes a long way, I also found it easier to divide the algorithm in sections ( like triggers but bigger). Also just doing the moves over and over to get it into muscle memory was a method I used. I am not advanced in anyway but i hope I helped u a bit.

To go from 23-26 seconds to sub-15, just practicing more will do it without learning anything else new. I'd focus on full OLL to get 2LLL before learning more advanced techniques.
