Hey! I'm a fellow cuber from Australia. I've had this account on the speedsolving forums for a little bit of time but I've only started coming on recently. I have a youtube channel called CubingHighlights which I have had and uploaded videos on for the past few months.
I'm a cuber who uses CFOP and I average around 11-12 seconds even though I haven't been practicing often. I know full PLL and about half of OLL. Those are probably the only sets of algs I know for 3x3.
I started cubing earlier this year which means I'm reasonably new to cubing and I haven't been to a competition yet since I just don't have the time and I've never really thought deep about it but I'm thinking of going to one soon.
My main is the Weilong GTS2 M which I've had for quite a while now and my main 2x2 is the Yuxin White (I use to have a dayan 2x2 but I broke it). I only have a cheap 4x4 cube which is a MF4S and I have a normal Moyu Pyraminx. I have a 5x5 and 6x6 but they are rubik's and vcube brands so they are a pain to turn.
I average around 4-6 seconds on 2x2 since I've never bothered to learn ortega or cll but I might learn some more 2x2 algs when the summer holidays come up for me which is, unfortunately, a long way away. I use the Yau method for 4x4 but I'm quite slow and hardly good enough to be considered 'decent'.
