I find them equally impressive. This 5BLD was harder to get(that's his overall PB if I am not mistaken), but MBLD is harder to practice and there is a lot more to memorize. They are a bit similar because both of them are a lot better than WR2s and this 5BLD will stand WR for a long time I think, as 41/41 stood. So which do you guys find more impressive? This 5BLD record or the 41/41

I never said MBLD WR stood for so long because it is hard to beat. I said it about 5BLD WR. I think it will stand for very long time because it is Kaijun's overall PB, unless he gets extremely lucky and beats it again at comp. The MBLD WR stood for so long not because it's so hard to beat but because the only person in the world who cared about this event.. quit. As far as I know, Kaijun has no plans to stop
Maskows memo is just so fast and good... I think if he tried out big bld he could manageI wonder if Maskow could better this if he dedicated himself to it. There is a message of him from 7 months ago claiming that he hates big cube BLD. Then there is a Youtube video of him from 6 months ago solving 5BLD in 9:07 (PB). And finally there is a video from 4 months ago solving it in 5:19 (PB). That was still quite far, but with that rate of improvement I wouldn't be so surprised.

I am not kidding. I just did some calculations and realised that maaaybe 3 minute average is possible. But it is possible only if somebody will practice 5bld extremely hard, for the whole life and will do everything ideally in solves. So I think somebody will reach it at least in a few years, and this WR will stay for very long time, maybe longer than 41/41. But I hope that I am mistaken.
