This is his 6th 4BLD AsR mean in a row since 2016.
He betters his previous best of 1:31.08 by exactly 11 seconds which is a lot!
He also has a 4BLD streak now of 6 continuous official successes.

Kaijin Lin has been a dominant BLDer for years. Speed BLD is so satisfying to watch because of the almost complete lack of pauses

Yes for 3x3, he has a custom made white base Gan 11m pro.

I think for the 4x4, he uses a qiyi cube, and just has not got a white base cube, and practiced on the cube that he has.
On the other hand, he uses a stickerless MGC for 5BLD event. (He does not do MBLD currently so I cannot comment on it)
So, all different types of cubes for different BLD events.

The real BLDers are in USA and Canada, who are global 17 seconds, which is a level above the rest of the world.

Jake, Elliot, Scalpel and Jeff are all global 17.
