How do you warm up your hands before cubing?

I'm better before playing video games than after (hands get cold for some reason).

This is due to your hands being elevated to hold the controller or use the keyboard. Bloodflow is decreased somewhat which causes your hands to be a little cooler than if they were down to your sides. I used to play video games competitively and had this issue. One thing that can help is to make sure that your hands are below the level of your elbows.

very nice explanation. Will try it.

What's a bump?
It's when a thread hasn't been used since a while, say a year or more, is replied to, thus, bumped up from the recesses of the forum to the front of the forum.

For instance, the last post in this thread was from literally from seven years ago. So when you replied to the seven year old conversation, you bumped it from the back of the forum where ever you found it to the top.

You're new, but please look at the date of the last couple replies before you post in a thread.
Especially when you didn't actually post anything constructive, as someone had already said to to solves.

this got me thinking: what's the oldest bump ever done?

I have just posted this question on stats request thread :)

On topic:

* My hands are too wet
The best thing to do in this case is wash them with a soap and then wipe with a towel or, if possible, dry them with the auto hand dryer. I learned it from my friend who is a professional pool player which makes keeping his hands dry critical during the games.

* My hands are too dry
A lot of people prefer to use hand creams for that. You can also blow into the fists or spray some liquid to temporary make them wet.

* My hands are too cold
You are probably cold overall, so put on a hoody/jacket. Then, having a hot drink like tea or coffee helps a lot, especially if you hold the glass in your hands to warm them. That's what I often do on the comps - thankfully, at every competition in Belarus and Russia organizers provide a teapot.
