2x2 Rubik's Cube not reassembling

I just got a new 2x2 yesterday, and I thought it would be nice to see what was inside. So I popped a piece off, but now I can't get it back on. I can't take the core apart, and now two pieces are separated from the cube. Help?

Loosen some center screws until you can put the piece in again and readjust tensions later
