Help!

As you can tell by my username, I am confused. I learned how to solve a 3x3 Rubik's cube two days ago, and I have gotten my time down to about 1 min 20 seconds with a new speed cube I purchased. With this particular cube, I didn't have any issues at first. But this morning when i woke up and tried to solve it, I noticed on the corner twist algorithm or whatever it is called (R' U2 R U R' U R), when the yellow side should be solved, one of the yellow corners is oriented in a wrong way so that the other three corners are solved but not the fourth. So I have a completely solved yellow top, except for one corner piece. Is my cube broken or something. This never used to happen.

How do I do this

Put one finger on each side of the cubie. Rotate wrist so each of the colours of the corner matches the sides. Done.

If it's a Rubik's Brand, it's probably easier to take an adjacent edge out then twist the corner.
