READ WHOLE THING NOW!!!
Okey so I showed concept in this idea thread a while ago and I was too lazy to write it down. So let's say it's my method, I am kudz so k3 will be fast to say and nothing like k4 so let's call it like this :)

Pure method steps:
1. EO+FB
2. SB+CP
3. 2GLL+FD&BD

But, method would be pointless, if that would be all. So let's start. I always enjoy learning new methods (even for 4x4), so when I couldn't even cfop well, I knew petrus, ZZ and Roux). This method is kinda hybrid of big 4 and got few variants.

So I can't manipulate much in EO and FB for me is a Roux block, but using only R,U,L,D moves(other moves too, but only like F2 to save EO).
Let's say that FB is done on left. I think that planning it is possible at preinspection, at least partly

Okey so basically I would do 2x2x1 block and than insert last pair (most likely FR) while doing CP. This is Roux variation. It leaves us with FD and FB edges unsolved. This is kinda unfortunate, cut it leaves us with whole M layer unsolved. '1LLL' is possible but there are too many algs (imo). So inserting FD and BD on place will reduce amount of algs. Since EO is done just doing block FD-center-BDwill reduce cases much. Doing additional M2 move will reduce cases to just 50%.
So now we got two cases
2GLL- nice 2gen cases
2GLL+M2U2M2. I think this can be learnt as well or just do M2U2M2
I don't like this variant of k3, cuz doing this FD-center-BD block after SB is not that good imo

I like that one better. So wouldn't I do this FD-BD cases while doing SB? Just add M2s to some R move (so sometimes Rw2 R') to solve them. Then insert last pair with CP. 2GLL to end. Now sth more about those 2 edges.
First my solve 2 months ago. Yes, I know that CP was done from start. 1st step done.

Scramble: R U R U2 R U2 R U2 R U' R2 U R2 U2 R' U' R U' R U' R2 U R' U' R2 M2 U' M2 U M2 U Rw2 U R' ofc i added M2s, just for my need

Solution:
2. R' Rw2 U' R' U2 R' U2 Rw2 U' R U R'
3. U R U' R'
4. R U' R' L' U2 L U L' U L R U2 R'
AUF: U'
alg.cubing.net =)

Now what I did:
2. R' Rw2 U' -solved D edges, while doing red-blue pair set up
R' U2 R' U2 - SB-LS
Rw2 U' R U R'- do pair
3. U R U' R'- CP
4. R U' R' L' U2 L U L' U L R U2 R' - 2GLL, now I would use different alg tho :P
AUF: U'

So just, while doing this SB we can easily solve those edges. Bigest problem here is M2U2M2, but here this adds 1-2 moves to solution. I like this variant v. much

So method isn't that hard the biggest issue is CP while LS. Ofc while usig non-Roux variant you can simply do ZBLL.
This was under work and I found sth nice, but I forgot it. Gonna edit it.
From that what I remember easiest reco was from angle where pair is solvable with RU2R'.
My reco system was sth like this.
-Look at WV (too see which colours matters) if, I know WV I can predict OCLL too =)
-Reco CP by looking on 3-4 stickers, can't remember which ones tho XDDDD
Gonna find it and edit it

So for me this method would go like this (Petrus/ZZ)
Best option imo
1. EO+FB
2. FD+BD+2x2x1 block (part of SB)
3. LS+CP
4. 2GLL

This is speedsolving method, the only pause in solve should be on last pair.

-Low movecount(could sb count it pls?)
-After 1st step '2gen' solve (not counting CP and Rw and R is kinda same)
-After 2nd step 2gen for sure
-Nice to lookahead and fingertrick
-'1LLL'
-Nice to switch from everything in big 4

-Roux variant requires a bit more algs and practice and is probably worse
-CP reco (or I will find that better one, which i knew for 2 days :/)
-Many algs
-Hard time in preinspection
-1st step is hard to plan (doable imo in 15s)
-Too intuitive for me

I might miss sth gonna edit later
I am going to add vid/examle solves/CP reco(more than now)/maybe some avg
pls halp w movecount
it is usable
rly ;_;

Or you could use NCPB 2.0

Though briggs is nicer because there wouldn't be any pause at all.

B2 is nice as well.

Hold on for B3 though ( I think it`ll be around soon, got some stuff to refine first.)

What's that? I posted in noraml thread, two months ago it was okey. I mean pure one.

ZZ-porky is pretty similar too.

The only reason I think Briggs/B2/B3 (coming soon hopefully!) Is different is because they are CP first.

Nice to see more people getting onto the idea for CP in speedsolve though. Hopefully one of us can get a method with easier recognition than the fisrt few methods and less complicated/convoluted than mine. (I hope B3 will completely rectify this though we`ll have to see)

This goes
Eo+FB
SB+CP
2GLL+those two edges in one alg. But to make it easier you can solve those two edges before. Similar not same for sure.
That what I wrote were variations to get less algs and possibly learn whole method.
If I will be able to do example solve w/ generated last step I'll be able to show you what i mean I think.

I'mnot sure doing EO after FB is too great, because I think one of the strengths of SB in Roux is being able to use the M slice to orient edges efficiently, and LSE edge orientation is pretty fast already.

That said, I was looking at a CFOP-Roux hybrid a couple weeks ago that involved a similar CP using last slot and so I'm interested to see where this idea goes.

EO is before FB. You can use M2. It is easier to do FB imo.

I think it could be interesting thoguh to explore the idea of EO + something other than a line as a generalization of ZZ, which could possibly be used if some block can be more easily made (though a line is a pretty good choice already, since M slice won't be used to orient edges and it makes lookahaed easier by solving D edges).

Try looking at SSC and Briggs in my sig.

Roux and CFOP are good enough already. Trying to mix them destroys any advantage one has over the other.

Never said it is better than those two. Even those four. It is fun for me for sure.

TDM maybe, for me it is a lot easier, but I am not that good with roux as am I with cfop and zz.

I have checked those out actually, they're pretty interesting. I think it'd be cool if some general blockbuilding+eo first step approach were found that involved using many sub-methods like those.
