I was looking at the World Cube Association website, and was amazed to see that so many people have times under 20 seconds. I've only gotten a time under a minute twice, once 57 seconds, another 54 seconds, and usually I get around 1:15 - 1:30 as a solve time. What's the trick to a 20 second solve?
I thought it was impossible for me, but that is not true, If you have less talent like me , it takes dedication and stop saying -I can not do this- . I got below 20 sec the moment I decided that every body can do 20 sec or less . If you have the talent it takes only a few months. But it took me 3 years, no I can do a 17.5 sec average at home all the time.....My next goal is 16.xx . Is this possible , yes If I optimize the cross phase
and perform PLL from all directions -so no U, U2 turns are needed-
Ton
btw I do not turn that fast -3 moves a second - Lookahead is the what makes me fast and of coarse a method that require around 50 moves
