solving cross on left is pretty easy but i thnik it needs more moves
How could it possibly take more moves?

News flash:
Solving the cross on any face IS THE EXACT SAME PROCESS.
You do the EXACT SAME MOVES.
You just rotate them. Cross on U doesn't make for more moves than cross on D, because you're performing the same exact moves, just rotated.

No, you're not. If you tried to do both crosses with the same moves, one would be a lot slower than the other. If i were to make the cross on top, i would use very different moves than when making cross on bottom.
I rotate. Otherwise, I'd be doing awkward moves almost the entire time because although I can still see the top layer for F2L, it takes a longer amount of time. I have enough time to find the first F2L pair when doing the cross but if I keep the cross on the left, I won't be able to find the other F2L pairs quickly in succession as I finish the preceding F2L pair. I'm not fast enough where a small rotate from cross on the left to the bottom would be slower than solving it on the bottom and not rotating at all yet.Do you solve f2l with cross on L or do you rotate after cross?
if any of you are color neutral from the start, could you tell me how you approached learning the bottom cross? did you guys master one color at a time, or, continued rotating them even as you were learning the bottom cross? moves being reversed is confusing enough, but i wonder if it's harder for people who are doing all color orders.
Ditto i'm CN on 2x2 and need to make a note of what side im solving otherwise i waste like 2 seconds trying to figure out my OLL. lolWhile i am neither CN (in most CFOP orientations at least) nor a CFOPer i am probably not very qualified to answer this question but whenever i do CFOP for the lolz, i find the cross is the easy bit- the worst part for me is OLL because i don't automatically remember which colour I'm orienting to the top so often end up with my default colours (white/yellow) oriented when i should have oriented the blues/reds/greens etc.

Srsly? Similar colors are opposite unless you aren't using Western color scheme... White Yellow Blue Green Red Orange...
New sig?tis blunk
New sig?
Small bump, predicting my OLL case is exactly what I am struggling with with Ortega right now. Tips on this?
question for fast cubers.... during inspection, are you thinking, "here, here, and then there, there." or are you memorizing a new temporary algorithm, like "first F, then L', then D, etc," ?
im at the point where im trying to do the whole cross during inspection, and wanna do it in an effective way.
