Are COLL and VHLS worth it?

I'm almost done learning VHLS edge control and am planning to learn COLL but have a few questions:

Is VHLS worth it?
On Bob Burton's site, he says that many algs are too long to be practical or mostly for OH. Is this true? Should I really be using all the VHLS cases in normal solving?

Is COLL worth it?
On Antoine Cantin's site, it says that COLL is best for OH and big cubes. Is this true? Should I learn COLL for the 3x3?
Also, on many sites, they don't list COLL cases for the Sune and Antisune cases because they don't use it. Should I learn those? Are they worth it?
(Also, why aren't there COLL algs on the Speedsolving wiki? I couldn't find any)

Thanks.

For OH and big cubes yes because a G perm can kill your solve for OH or 5x5+
Just use VHLS with a few cases and you can intuitively get a top cross, even though it's not necessary, watch Feliks and his orienting edges during F2L video

I learned the Sune COLLs. It was a waste of time. I've forgotten most of them because I don't use them in solves.

The standard Sune and Antisune are the shortest and fastest OCLL algs, but COLL recognition is slightly slower than the other cases. Taking the extra time to recognise and then potentially have to do a much longer alg is a waste of time, and unless you get the 2-gen case or Niklas/Antiniklas, it's almost always going to be more moves than the standard 7 move OLL followed by PLL.

Most of the other COLL cases are easy to recognise, easy to learn and easy to execute. I'd definitely recommend learning them.

The normal sune and antisune are good enough. Besides, personally I think that vhls is not beneficial enough as it doesn't speed up your solves by much(unless you have learnt some, if not all zbll algs). The sledgehammer and line cases are the good cases worth learning though.

I know most of COLL, its probably only best for one handed solving, unless you plan on learning full ZBLL on top of COLL like me......
For VHLS, only worth it for 1LLL which requires ZBLL

I find COLL extremely useful for OH and big cubes, as you say. But it kinda put a damper on my 2H solves for a while, because I'd always stop to try to recognize the COLL case rather than just do a really fast and easy solution... for like the L and T case. Also, I can't help but see and do the COLL for Pi/Bruno, and I really miss not caring about that.

I've learned full VHLS and I use it in solves. The main cases I use are the connected line case, the connected sledgehammer case, and both no edges cases. I will use almost any algorithm though if I'm set at the correct angle and I don't actually have to AUF to use it. There are some algorithms that I know, but never use (e.g. the R U' R' U2' R' F R F' separated pair case). The difficult part about knowing VHLS is knowing when to use it.
