i had a sub 45- sub-30 forum on this page but now i am sub 30 and would like to get to sub 20, or sub-25 first, my best average is 27 seconds, and have only twice got a sub-20 time of 19.34 and 18.83 seconds, i have somehow managed to get down to sub-30 and yet i do not even know full 2 look OLL, should i learn all these things or should i just stick to my intuative Oll part 2.

Well you are way ahead of me, but I would say stick with what you're doing till you stop improving, then learn 2look OLL.

That way you've got something to pull out of the bag when you need it.

I may be totally wrong though...

I think you should learn 2-look OLL, it's very easy and can be very fast. For sub-20 really it's just a matter of getting comfortable with the whole solving process.. good cross solution, decent transition to 1st pair, fairly good recognition and finger tricks.

this video says it all

understand that turning slow helps you look ahead and just practice that.
what i did for my friend who averages around 30-33 is i did an example solve for him where i pointed out everything before i did it, like showing him an F2L pair before i inserted it and turned slowly so he could see it happening too. the solve was perfectly normal and it was 19 seconds with 4LLL. i asked him and he said he could follow everything and he's obviously not sub-20. he was really shocked how fast the solve actually was.
just goes to show how much looking ahead helps even if you turn super slow.
