[Help Thread] 4x4 sub 1:30 help.

I don't know anything about hoya really, but if you still use a bad cube (perhaps non-magnetic), get a better one (it really helps). Get the Vin 4x4. Then you will be saved👼🏿. Also, I would say learn how to do half-centers (again, if that actually exists in hoya). I hope you do well!
Also apparently the Vin 4x4 is being discontinued:(

I would suggest working on transition between last 2 centres and 3-2-3 edges. I know I'm a Yau user, but I've found this to be extremely helpful. I've also done some Hoya in the past (averaging around 50). Also lookahead during 323 edges is extremely important. At this stage, that is the main part that will help. Once you get faster and have better lookahead, high TPS will be necessary to improve.

i did teach myself a way to skip the last 2 centers, by incorperating f3l into the last cross edge, so hopefully once i get used to doing that my times will improve.
thanks !

Does anyone know where I can find an alg sheet for sl2c ? (i dont think theres a proper name for it yet, but it uses parts of the f3l method to skip the last 2 centers in hoya) btw - sl2c = skip last 2 centers
Not rlly anything ik abt but i just do it intuitively and after a lot of practice it comes naturally

Yeah thats what ive been doing.
Currently Trying to switch to apb on 4x4, but its harder cause of OLL parity, and i want to keep using hoya at same time.

Should probably change this to sub 1 help now tho in case i want help in future.
