Hello! I have recently become the owner of a Guoguan Xinghen 2x2. I really enjoy the feel and I want it to be my main. I am having a large problem with it, I like my tensions loose but not THAT loose. So anyway the screws scratch against the pieces witch makes the turning terrible and completely ruins the cube. I also have magnetized it and I don't want a good cube to go to waste. I have thought of multiple solutions and only one might work, and that is finding different screws. If you know of a way to get rid of this terrible issue please let me know, or if you know of screws that are small enough that they won't scratch the prices and that they will still work please let me know! Thanks- CRL0312

Take at all the way apart so that only the screws are screwed into the core. Screw them into there so that there are about four screw threads showing exposed from the core. then put it all back together. Then turn each screw about 180 degrees and check to see if it can pop. If it can, then do anither 180 degrees and check again. Keep doing that until it doesn't pop or misalign internally. If the screws are exposed, you're not tightening them down enough.
Hope this helps.

This was very confusing and I don't really understand what you are saying. I do think that you are suggesting I tension it, which I don't want to do. If I tension it so that the screws are not rubbing the cube is EXTREMELY tight and has no corner cutting what so ever.

Idk what to tell you. Tension it so the screw heads aren't exposed, and make a video of you showing us the corner cutting and turning etc. Then maybe we can help.
Hi, I don't know if I can send a video or not. I also don't understand what good this would do, but I will try anyway. I also want to know if it is possible to use other screws and have the cube still function normally.
