[TheSilverBeluga]

Huge congrats to him!

So falls the oldest standing world record in the WCA. The title is now held by 3x3 single.

really? the 3.47 it seems like yesterday

I'd love to see a reconstruction of it. I don't think it was a super lucky scramble or at least the other competitors didn't see a super efficient solution, because their times were average for that scramble.

Well… no

Amazing solve from Elijah!

0.75s is too fast.

added to OP, thank you. Thread can be moved to WR/CR/NR solves now

[Mike Hughey]

I can't believe the WR single had 3 unsolved tips!

[UncleFrank]

At this point, it's easier to list which WRs were *not* broken in the past year.

lol we were practicing when I heard “WHOAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!” and I was like “is that wr avg?” my guess was close lol

Yeah we got 4th and 5th that round somehow. Our best averages that comp were 4.27 (me) and 4.45 (him) i think. He got a 2.08 single in round 2 tho.

Does anyone have the official scramble for this amazing solve yet? I would love to see how I do on it.
