After becoming a cuber last month, I am facing a 7 to 10 day waiting time just so I can learn Pyraminx. Meanwhile, what's some bad waiting experiences you have faced?

Yep. I ordered mine 17 days ago and it shipped yesterday, will be here Monday. I absolutely love my TengYun so I can't wait for the V2!

Throwback to my freshman year of college, 2008, when I was very new to cubing. I ordered a V-cube 7 and was absolutely pumped to receive it! I then realized the cube was being shipped to my parents house and not my dorm room. Tracking info showed “out for delivery” one day so drove an hour home to go get it. I Got there to find the “delivery attempt” slip b/c it apparently needed a signature. I wasn’t able to change the delivery address or pickup location b/c the seller set up shipping not me. My parents weren’t able to sign over the next few days b/c they are 9-5 workers so the package eventually got rerouted and tracking info just showed “in transit to hold facility” for about a week. I finally figured out where my package was and again drove an hour across town to get it. I got the cube and then ran out of gas on my way back to campus (I drove an old car without a function gas gauge). I had to then walk to a gas station to fill my gas can and walk back. I eventually got home and was able to solve my very crunchy and extremely loud V-Cube! Now it just sits and collects dust as an homage to cubing history.
