Will anyone break current record for 3x3 besides Feliks himself?

as you may already know, feliks zemdegs is far ahead of the game when it comes to 3x3 solves. i was wondering if anyone thinks he will be beaten in a couple years. he is insanely fast and is only getting better. do you think someone will come and take his title or is there almost no chance anyone will catch him?

to be quite honest with everyone there is not one person who has a chance at breaking 5.66 unless its an extremely lucky solve. the one person who i would give a chance is the cuber below and he barely goes to competitions anymore (masato onobe or giovani contardi or piti pichedpan
)

nobody that is already famous. There are alot of people starting cubing young now, and it will be whoever starts the youngest and sticks with it the longest.

There is part of me that believes Rowe Hessler will come to nationals and get a sub-7 average.

I really wonder why so many people think that Yu Nakajima will become some sort of grand champion again. I don't think he has even gotten an official sub 10 average and his times are not really improving so much.

Exactly. There are so many people sub10; the chances that Yu Nakajima is going to break the 3x3 WR is pretty small. My guesses, if any, are Rowe, Anthony, Piti, Gabriel, or Breandan. Personally, I think there might be a new cuber who comes around and ends up beating Faz. It'll probably be a couple years before Feliks is defeated by anyone other than himself over and over.
