I'd choose cstimer, because you have more types of scrambles, a lot of helpful tools and you can customize the looks.

Honestly, both.
I use cubedesk as my timer for doing regular solves. It's also nice because you can 1v1 people from around the world.

I use cstimer for drilling certain things, because it has many different scramble presets which is really nice.

If you're looking to use one timer only, i'd go with cstimer because of all of the helpful scramble presets and things like that.

I prefer csTimer, and it's by far the most popular timer, buy CubeDesk is also good. I recommend trying both

I'd chosse Cstimer because it has most of the things Cubedesk has and more, I do use Cubedesk for it's 1v1's though.
