Why is the GAN Pyraminx so bad when (almost) every other GAN cube is amazing?

I have the GAN pyra. It locks up SO MUCH. It has ruined many good solves for me (don't worry, I'm saving up for the MoYu). Oh well... I never was that much of a GAN fan anyway...

Yeah, and that leads to lockups with the edges. Even Lunar wouldn't fix it.

the gan 251m pro isn't that slow, is it? i have one and it's much faster than my mgc, although that may not be a very just comparison.

i actually still use it because I don't like how other's weilong pyraminx feels and the dayan v3's tips suck (the rest turns way better.)
There really isn't many pyraminx releases which surprises me considering That I'd think all the young new cubers would be nagging their parents for a new pyraminx but i guess not.

The gan pyraminx is overly hated. It has the best tips in the game and is really nice if you turn accurately. Honestly a skill issue for most people

It's not horrible, a little unstable and super overpriced. Theres no reason to get a gan when you could get a cube just as good if not better for half the price.

Pyraminx hardware in general is far from good no matter which brand you main, especially if you have not modded it significantly. iirc Jasper Murray once paid $300 NZD ($177 USD) for 3 professionally modded YLMs (or Weilongs, I can't entirely remember) from another top solver.
