i'm the only one that things mats will beat his record?

Yes, all the reasonable people know that Feliks is the most likely single person and that "Other" has the advantage of being so many people, and all the rebel punks are rooting for the Roux guy.

Why do you think Mats is more likely than Feliks, more likely than Alex, and more likely than the entire rest of the community combined?

Edit: Some statistics about the four options:

sub-6:
Feliks: 5
Mats: 1
Alex: 1
Other: 1

sub-7:
Feliks: 55
Mats: 9
Alex: 15
Other: 72

sub-7 in 2014:
Feliks: 25
Mats: 0
Alex: 6
Other: 38

Edit 2: Oh wow, I just saw that Feliks got a sub-7 in each of his last eight rounds. And 13 overall in those eight rounds.

Mats is now ranked 4th in the world for average, while feliks, Lucas, and Alex are all faster than him on paper. I think he's actually pretty overrated, because he's the one that's gotten all of the fame from holding the single WR. Feliks is worlds ahead of everyone else on paper, (maybe not Alex lau, they have roughly the same Ao100, but he's less consistent in comps) so he will probably get the WR. Technically he already did with his 5.33 DNF. He has a bunch of sub 6s as well, whereas everyone who has a sub 6 only has one.

But really, anyone can get stupidly lucky. With a LL skip, I could probably get a sub 10 single on a decent F2L. Seungboem (probably spelling that wrong) Cho had a fullstep 6 recently in a comp, where the F2L was probably low 3. With a LL or PLL skip, he would have gotten the WR.

im not saying he is the best, nor is he my favorite. i just would like to see someone other than feliks holding SOME records

IDK who alex is, i don't watch/pay attention to many event, so i dont know who he is. I know mats because he is well known and everyone talks about him
