Which 4x4 do you use and why?

I use xcube. Only because of the size. If the dayan was smaller I would use the dayan. My pops on the xcube are rare and somewhat annoying. Typically its just and edge, but it flies. Dayan pops more frequent, but you typically feel the piece pushing out. Its a quick easy fix and usually the piece just needs to get popped back in, but it doesn't really fall out...

X cube 4. I use it because it is smooth enough that there are no lockups. Also it almost never pops, plus it feels like a AV which i really love!

Lucky you! We have the same 4x4 but yours doesn't pop much,maybe you have set the core tensions perfectly unlike me.
What are your 3x3 phase times?

My 3x3 phase times are about 20-25 or 30-35 with DP. Also, I just have it set factory tension.

After I saw that X-cube explosion I don't mind those small pops that can just be pushed back with a little "click" on my Rubik's 4x4x4.

I was unsure over by Shenshou and DaYan, but the Shenshou demonstrated a couple of epic scale explosions.

Tensioned and lubed right the DaYan is a fantastic cube and my 4x4 of choice now.
