Where to improve?

I took an average of different stages of a solve, here are the average times:
Cross: 7.60 seconds
F2L: 16.83 seconds
OLL: 5.29 seconds
PLL: 9.07 seconds

Where is the most potential for improvement? Don't say everywhere! I could spend weeks learning the OLL algorithms but for a potential improvement of 4 seconds it doesn't seem to be what's slowing me down the most at the moment. I use 2-look OLL and PLL, and I'm current working my way through the PLL algorithms.

Cheers,

To start off with, I have to say to overall I'm slower than you, mainly because of bad lookahead on F2L, which takes me around 25 seconds. But having said that, I think I can give you some useful tips on other parts.

Cross: If you make good use of the 15 seconds inspection time and plan the cross well, you should be able to get it down to 5 seconds max.
OLL: Can't comment on that one. You're OLL is faster than mine.
PLL: It's definitely worth learning full PLL. I'm in the process of learning them all know. I already know all the 2 look PLL cases and what I do now is learning a new one everyday and also learn how to recognise them. I first repeat the algorithm over and over again. And when I'm solving the cube and end up with one of the PLLs I have learnt, I force myself to use the appropriate PLL algorithm for that case instead of resorting to the 2 look PLL. Once you've mastered it, do the same for the next one. I find badmephisto's page quite helpful, as he puts the PLL cases in the order that is best to learn them in. In cases when I can do a 1 look PLL, it usually takes me 4 seconds.

Hope this helps.

Just lots of practise at this stage...your cross should automatically go down, your F2L probably will at your speed as well...and all OLL and PLL is is practise...And finish off your full PLL.

Keep working on PLL and definitely work on your cross, that is your most obvious weakness. Practice doing the cross blindfolded. Just take as much time as you need to memorize what you need to do to solve it, then do it. Keep going until you can do that in >10 seconds.
