The video shows many of Yiheng's recent 2x2 and 3x3 attempts, however there were multiple counts of illegal timer starts (sliding) and early stops. Most of his solves should be DNFed if the proper penalties are given

This is affecting Xuanyi to the point where he's no longer participating in H2H competitions until WCA committees do something about it.

I think Yiheng should be given a small penalty. Maybe 6 months. This will both punish him for cheating and give him time to grind Full ZB secretly.

It is a setting on a wca timer that basically means to start the timer, you can't slide

yeah what he said. Adding to this, you have to also put your thumbs on these pads, making it harder to slide

I really don't like how toxic the relationship between Xuanyi (or probably more like Xuanyi's parents) and Yiheng is getting.
At this point I feel like 4-pad will be introduced sooner or later even though it will mean some records would get reset

there’s only two things they can do about sliding at this point:
Option A- Allow sliding for all competitors but tighten the rules (some user on the WCA forum suggested this, i won’t go into full detail because it’s way too long)
Option B- Introduce 4-pad (which has also had some arguments on the WCA forum)

yiheng you are no longer my goat i really thought he got three consecutive sub-4 averages in one comp the WCA needs to do something about this FAST before any major championships happen
