Where have you left your puzzles?

This is the thread where we talk about where we lost/left our cubes.

Just Friday I left my zhanchi on the school bus with half brights and I called the bus place they said "We saw ... Come off the bus with it." So luckily ... Is a girl I know and she will give it back.

I leave my cubes around the house and they reappear in different spots (probably from my kids moving them around).

I once gave my LanLan 2x2 to someone in a geography lesson (before the teacher got there), and didn't get it back. Three weeks later, I saw it on her desk. The plastic was very badly damaged, as if someone had thrown it at something hard more than once, and most of the stickers had been peeled off and put back on incorrectly. It sucked though, so at least it gave my parents a reason to get me a better 2x2. Otherwise I'd have had to pay for it myself.
And now that other 2x2 has now been destroyed by someone else (one of the centres has been ripped off and only stays in if the cube is assembled).

Aww man that SUCKS! similar story happend to me i let someone use me SS 4x4 and they popped a edge and hid the inner piece that holds centers together in a my Colored pencil box and i found it at the end of last year! Man I sure do hope the girl gives me the cube back im nervous... The Zhanchi is broke in and feels like god it cannot pop!

I left my Guhong v1 in the garden shed over the winter until it grew mould all over it.
I rescued it and cleaned it up and it's pretty awesome now.

I keep all of them in three large sealed plastic containers.

One for 4x4x4 and higher cubes, one for 1x1x1 to 3x3x3 and most of my cuboids (ie 4x4x6, 3x3x5, 3x4x5, 2x2x4, etc) and pyraminx and megaminx stuff.

And one for my other puzzles (ie Gripple, move balls to location inside sealed plastic box, frame to cube and back again, etc) and the remaining cuboids.

I have a LanLan 2x2 at a friends place because his cat tought it be fun to play with one of the pieces while I had disassembled it due to an internal pop, so I just left everything there. And I left a V-Cube 7 center cap on a train. The cap kept falling off, so I put it on the table while solving, then forgot it. Other than that, my cubes are sitting safely at my table.

Also, as a side point, does anyone find that what seems like sticker goo ends up on the outside of the stickers and cube when they put it in their pocket or bag or somewhere which isn't flat and in the open. My SS 4x4 and 5x5 always get the sticker goo type stuff on the outside and it's so annoying since I don't have any replacement stickers for the 2 right now.
Is this just me.
