Where can I find good f2l algorithms? (read description)

Okay, I'm wondering what the best place is to get f2l algorithms that aren't necessarily short (though can be), but easy to perform. I found places like speedcubing.com, but some of those algorithms are hard to perform. Can someone please help?

Also, what is the best way to hold your cube when solving the white face? Is it best to have it on the right side, left side, bottom, top, etc...

Yea, that helps a little, but not much. He just wants a site with f2l algs, which I'm not looking for. I want one that has algs which can be easily preformed.

And also, I had two questions...

The ZZ F2L algs are 2-gen and should be easier to perform. Problem is, if you don't like cube rotations then you need edge pre-orientation to set-up a 2-gen F2L which means learning EOLine. NOTE: The algs are 2-gen for each side. <R,U> for RH block, <L,U> for LH block.

And also, I had two questions...

I do white on bottom, and solve with white on bottom for F2L lookahead. Which is better is really a matter of opinion tho ;)

Well, I think that the best way to solve the cube is to have the white face (in your case) on the left. This because F2L feels natural with only R and U rotations. Also, to look around you can always do "l"with your left hand and not "d" (as you would have to do if you had white on bottom).

The best place to find F2L algs is to use intuitive ones. Most of them are very similar to the algs and you will actually understand what they do.
You'll be able to track pieces and look ahead better using intuitive, as well as insert from different angles (no cube rotations).

I agree 100% with this assessment.

Cross and F2L should be learned intuitively (ie NO Algs at all!).

Yes, it's SLOW to start with, but you will develop speed as you progress and learning to do F2L intuitively allows you to develop better look ahead.

The best instructor I've seen online for F2L and Fridrich is Badmephisto - he provides everything you need in a concise, clear and easy to understand style that includes algs, discussion, conceptual ideology and even You Tube clips describing the process.

In regards to facing, I always have white on the bottom.

Reason for this is because it puts the two brightest colours (white and yellow) opposite each other and with the white on the bottom, makes the yellow 'pop' against the other colours on the cube (ie better clarity) as it's the only 'bright' colour you see once the cross is complete. (obviously this is only true if your Cube is in the US configuration rather than the asian White/Blue config)

As such, I always tile my cubes in US format.

Hope the info helps!
