When do you fix the tips during Pyraminx solving?

I used to solve them while solving the first 3 centers, now I find myself doing them at the end of the solve.

It really, really depends. Never at the beginning, but just kinda whenever my hands are in the right place for it.

the moment I grab the side the tip is on first

I use LBL so assuming there are 4 tips I solve:
1)The bottom three tips while solving a layer.
2)The last tip while solving the last 3 edges.
