My 562 exploded on the bus. I don't even know how it happened. It was on even tension, but it locked up a bit and blew up when I attempted to fix the mess.

That physically pained me
felt like a punch in the stomach

Once every few months my gan will lock up for a solid 15-20 seconds until a piece pops and it becomes turnable again

Suprisingly, despite dealing with the old big cubes of the day I don't think I've had a cube completely explode on me. Before I spring swapped my old shengshou I believe it would pop out 5-15 peices every 3 solves or so.

Obviously my vote for the worst popping cube has to go to the diansheng FTO…it’s exploded on me at least 3 times and I’ve taken at least 10-15 minutes every time to fix it

Same, mine has become an unusable unevenly tensioned lube dump. The DaYan hasn't popped yet though, around 430 solves in.

I had a 2x2 (one of the newer Dayan's) and an inner peace would pop every 5 minutes. Each time, I'd have to ask my friend to fix it.

At my last comp in 4x4 I counted a 54, 58 and 1:54(PR average is 1:09). And I don't think it's hard to figure out why this is in the 'worst pops' thread

In 2015 I was at my school cubing club with my MoYu aolong V2, I liked to keep cubes quite loose back then, at one point it completely exploded in the middle of the classroom and pieces went all over the place, 3 of them were never found, I suspect some of them ended up in a side area of the classroom which can't be reached.
