whats next?

i currently use 4lll and f2l and my avg. is about 50 and i don't know how to improve my time, would it be better for me to learn full pll and oll, or try and improve my f2l?

Erm...learn PLL.

Learn PLL over time, but the main thing is practice over and over. This will improve your F2L and last layer by simply repetition. Work on your F2L move-count to get your F2L times down. Make the best of every situation, and don't just solve it just to solve it, make it optimal or find finger-trick-friendly cases that you can execute fast.

Also look at the physical aspects: is your cube lubed and smooth? Are you using finger tricks?

You can learn F2L and PLL at the same time. Just do this:
1) Scramble a cube
2) Do Cross
3) Practice F2L by solving it (efficiently, not randomly)
4) Do 2-look OLL
5) Do the PLL if you know it, learn it if you don't
