I need help to determine what type my cube is, since i cant find anything that matches it on the internet. :(
Quick info: got it from my mom, origin unknown, probably a storebought though, hard but possible to do fingertricks on it unlubed, but I lube it with silicone spray, stickers are great, no logo on them, its the original stickers, seems to be plastic stickers completely, unlike my rubik's 2x2, where it seems to be paper with plastic cover,
Corner cutting is about 35 degrees, almost never pops, must be really violent to make it pop, almost never locks up, sound is pretty "clicky", smooth turning
here's some pictures to show how it looks (sorry for the lack of quality, just got the webcam on my laptop to use :fp
coreo.jpg

here's the core, its transparent as you can see
corner1w.jpg

here's the corner, its pretty much plastic all way through what i can tell.
edge1i.jpg

here's the edge, as you can see, its hollow, unlike the corner

here it is with the first layer gone

here is the cube, whole and nice, as you can see, when the stickers starts to peel, i cut away the peeling part of it, (first i used a scissor for fingernails, but now i use a scalpel instead, its very easy to cut the stickers)

thats pretty much it, if you want more information, ask here and i will try to answer. ;)

ok, thx, sorry for posting it wrong though, but i find it weird that it has no logo on the stickers, im the only one in my family that is a cuber, the others dont even touch it, so no one of them would replace the stickers, is it because its old?

it;s a studio

well, most off the description of a studio is correct, except the part saying it got removable center caps and adjustable springs, so that gives a point for the storebought cube answer, then the missing logo jumps in, can it be that my mom got it from some other person that already had replaced the stickers on a storebought? or could it be some kind of hybrid (unlikely as it is)? like i said, its probably a storebought, im not sure though, my friends storebought is different at some places, like the hole in the corner pieces, mine got circular holes, while my friends holes got edges. maybe it is because its old though

I've seen those around, I think it's some KO brand. May be a studio though.

ok, but i find it odd, since a studio should be adjustable what i know, and mine isnt, i can see som kind of mark of a cap on some centerpieces, but those is welded(?) and is unremovable, maybe its just some kind of KO like Owen said.., well, its not that important, i was just a little curious what type it was :)

Except for the part in bold, this and your pictures make this seem like a studio cube. All 4 or 5 of mine pop like crazy when trying to cut corners. The real teller for Studio cubes is the plastic. It just feels different, almost squishy, when you cut corners (no lube). Some cubies are warped or dented.

It is adjustable but the difference is so minimal it doesn't matter. It just turns too slowly to make up for the dramatic increase in popping. To get to the screws...hehe...you have to really, really want it. My nail broke when I first tried to get off the cap. Loosen it with a knife (a bad one!!!) and then pull it out.

I'm going to say a KO Rubik's Cube that's really similar.

I have the EXACT SAME CUBE!! some friend gave it to me a month ago. Well the tension CAN be adjusted but the center caps are usually stuck unless the tension turns too loose and the screw comes off then you can use the screw to push the center cap open from the inside of the center cubie. I lubed it with a lot of jigaloo and now its really smooth but before it was UNBELIEVABLY stiff...

thats nice to hear! but unfortunately its broken now x) the place for the spring in one center piece cracked open, and is now unusable, noticed it when i tried to turn the white layer, and the green one (the broken one) started to turn too... well, shame cuz i thought it was a great cube but it was pretty old, my mom said i got it from her grandmother (O.o), now i got a C4U cube, set pretty tight, it reminds me of my broken one at that tension :)
