What online timer to use

Hi, i was wondering what timer to use to time myself. I tried Cube timer, but after every so long, my log disapears. Thanks

I use JNet Timer. Forget the exact name, but it's something like that. You can save it and it can save log files for you.

I'll get scrambles for 2x2 off qqTimer but use Cubemania.

Cubemania is good. You can save times.

CubeMania is my personal favorite, because of the ablilty to save and graph your times. It shows your long term improvement visually, which is very nice in my opinion.

I recently tried out Cube Mania. I like it better and will probably be using it now. But I'll show you a couple pro's & con's about qqtimer & cubemania.

qqtimer pros
• Many different type of puzzles & scrambles.
• Has Single, AO5, AO12, AON, AO100, MO3
• Optimal 2x2 scrambles
• Can stop with keys other than the space bar

qqtimer cons
• No log.
• Doesn't look nice (if you care)
• I'm sure there's more, just can't think of any other ones.

CubeMania Pros
• Log & sharing of times
• Lots of types of solves
• Online competitions

CubeMania Cons
• Only stop & started with spacebar or mouse.
• Only AO5
• Timer often starts while stopping a time.
• Long scrambles (no optimal)

I like cubemania better overall, but I think qqtimer has better actual timing features.

Yes! I have this problem with cube timer. Makes taking average of 100 difficult. Sometimes the times remain and sometimes they get wiped out . Time to switch to another timer.

Seems like QQtimer doesn't allow you to save times either? When you close the browser the times are gone .

Yes! I have this problem with cube timer. Makes taking average of 100 difficult. Sometimes the times remain and sometimes they get wiped out . Time to switch to another timer.

What did Dan (maker of cubetimer) say when you reported this problem to him?
