Look behind you...
I've always wondered what the feeling was like. Then, a few weeks ago I got my first sub-30 solve(29.49 although it was a very lucky case). I got really happy with it.So tell me, what did you felt when you got your first sub-30?
P.S.: If there is already another thread like this sorry then. By the way sorry for the bad english :(.

As a single, i remember being very exited about it, but when ever i break a new big average barrier, (30,25,20 sec) i just feel empty inside. Every time i get closer to one of these barriers, it no longer seems like its fast. Now that i am borderline sub 20, all i care about is getting below 15. My outlook really is the wrong way to go about it, as i will never be content, but it keeps me going!

I don't remember my first sub30, and to be honest I don't consider that a significant barrier by any stretch. However going back to when I started cubing, sub20 wasn't too bad at all (now I would say sub15 is the equivalent), and I definitely remember my first sub20... I went running around the house XD

First sub 60 - happy, very happy
First sub 30 - shocked. Was a LL skip
First sub 20 - ecstatic

Just got a sub 30!!!
I've been practicing F2L like a maniac, and I felt "You know what, I deserve this!"
Then I got it, and I couldn't have been happier!
Can't wait for sub 25, sub 20, etc.

Didn't feel as good as my first sub 20, because I was still averaging 30 and got a random 18 second solve lol

I don't really remember sub30. I remember my first sub1: It was just new years eve (iirc) and I was just doing tons of hand scrambles and then timing it with a stopwatch. I think I jumped up and down and screamed

My first sub20 I remember vividly. I was sitting at my karate studio waiting for class and there were several other people in the room. I got it (19.9x) and then shouted, "Yes! Sub20!" Everyone stopped there conversations for a moment and just stared, a few people congratulated me. I was really excited about it because it was NL, whereas my previous PB was a 21.xy PLL skip

I dont remember my first sub 30 really. But I remember when I first got an sub 30 average I jumped out of my computer chair and was like "Holy ****! Sub 30!" Then my first sub 20 single with a PLL skip I jumped outta my chair and was like no way. But like Im getting less and less excited about breaking barriers. I remember sub 1 min being a big deal and yea doesnt seem so big. Except when I knock down a barrier one handed now =)
