what did YOU do when approaching sub 30?

I got sub 30 averages with 2 Look PLL and 3 Look OLL]. All you need is to practice F2L. If I were you I would do it all intuitively. That makes it easy for getting sub 30 because you don't have to recall an algorithm for every case.

Yes. I'm pretty sure it involves getting a cross, and then solving the corners using only sune/antisune

I usually average about 34-38 secs

my cross time:4-7sec
my F2L time:10-15sec
Last Layer:10-15sec
my PB single:21.xy or yx or whatever
I am right now learning full PLL but ill never learn full OLL its just not necessary ill only learn most common cases.

use a PLL trainer to get faster at them, google it...

anyway, after a few solves, its not so much the execution.
but recognition.

oh well. i guess they get better over time.
