I'm relatively new to the forum, so I might be one of 20 people trying to do this for all I know. I'm trying to trade my set (5x5x5-7x7x7) of white v-cubes for a set of black ones. There are no problems with my set, I just prefer black cubes now.
The 5x5 has had the base of the corner-pieces smoothed, and has been lubed.
The 6x6 has been modified using the memyself&pi instruction video on youtube. It works great for me, but make sure you know the mod I am talking about before you get into the trade. It is NOT necessary that the black v-cube has this mod applied.
The 7x7 has been lubed only.
Not gonna hold my breath, since it seems like a lot of people prefer the black set, but if you are interested: shoot me a message!
Oh yeah, and if you insist on seeing pictures of the cubes before the deal, that can be arranged.
