It would be good to have a video showing how competitions look and work. Just to give people an idea what to expect when they go to their first competition, and also to give new cubing communities an idea how to run a competition (unofficial at first) if they can't get outside help.
Can someone do this? Someone who'll soon visit a competition with a good video camera? The video should show an overview of the venue, a closer look at the competition area and the organizer/scrambler area. Also show some solves, but in a wide view. It's *not* important to see one person's hands and puzzle perfectly during a solve, instead it's important to get an idea of where people walk when and what they do overall. A static camera covering the competition area, scrambler area and waiting area would be good. Bonus points if the camera is high enough to offer constant view and not be blocked all the time by people walking/standing in front of it. The whole thing should be narrated, though I guess that can better be added later when editing the video instead of during the recording.
