V/F-Perm help :P

O.k... so I can't seem to find a good way of doing the d' turns in these two algs The ones i use are:

V: [R' U R' d'] [R' F'] [R2 U' R' U] [R' F R F]

F: [R' U2 R' d'] [R' F'] [R2 U' R' U] [R' F R U' F]

These are the ones found on badmephisto's (don't know his real name) page.

I've got 'em memorized and all, however i can't find an efficient way of doing 'em. I'm having to re-grip with my right hand each time...any help?

I would use

[R' U R' U'] y [R' F'] [R2 U' R' U] [R' F R F]

The U' and y cube rotation, in combination is not that bad regrip

What's so bad about regripping?

nothing's wrong with it, i'm just trying to find a way that would possibly be faster.

the V and specially F are the slowest perms for me as well (not counting the N's). I tried long to find a better way to do them, but i just cant get my F below 2.5 seconds. There was a topic here few days ago where people listed the algs they all use, maybe you can try searching for that

fast way to do Ns - for N(a) on your page badmephisto, just take out the FR pair, U, then J-perm (a). for N(b), just take out the BR pair and do the other J-perm. Im not sure about this second one, because my second J-perm is just a leftie version, so i just mirror it, but play with it a little and it shud work plus learning each J gives you an extra PLL

I always executed this as R U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

R U R' with right hand, then U' with left index finger. While my left hand does that turn, it gives me time to do the cube rotation and regrip with the right hand.

And I've never seen that F perm before. The one I do is the one martijn posted.
