Upcoming Maru Mini 3x3 (Maru Nano Cube)

Hopefully this has not already been posted, but Maru is planning on coming out with a very small 3x3x3. According to them, it will be the smallest mass produced cube ever and will be 1.5 cm. Not sure of the price yet, but I will probably be buying a bunch for no real reason whatsoever.

Exactly! They are even advertising it as a good cube for HD mosaics


My only concern would be the stickers. Less surface area tends to lead to the stickers falling off much easier.

I was thinking mosaics, also removing the green stickers is awesome.

A friend made a 200 cube mosaic from keychain cubes and it's pretty heavy.
If they are reasonably priced I might make a pretty large one.

Hello everyone, I have some new information about the release of this cube. According to Maru, the DIY kits will be available within 1 month (Assuming we didn't have some translation issues in our emails). No word yet on pricing or anything else unfortunately.

I wish! I can't imagine making a stickerless version would be easy though. Those interconnected corner stems would have to have super small tabs on them.

Yeah, the corners are probably not made to be split in three. DIY kits heh. I will wait for a video of the assembly process.
