Alright guys, so right off the bat let me just say that I do have the popular cubes now a days (Fangshi, Weilong, Aurora, Liying, Original Plastic Zhanchi from years ago, etc)
but if there's one thing I love more than these cubes, it's the Type-F (black, white, BLUE, PINK) and Type-FII Cubes. I bought a lot of them from around 2008 and I've been cubing with them ever since (they are lying around the house everywhere) However, despite constant use, I cannot distinguish which is better than the other. There's something different about them, but yet I average consistently the same time (sub 18). I have debated with myself for a very long time, and there are not very threads or videos about this.

Just a few questions to those of you familiar with the Type-F cubes:
What type of plastic are they? Are they both the same??
Which one do you think performs better?
Which one is faster?

Below are the mods I have done to the F1 and F2 to reduce friction (corners) and weight (removing plastic)

If I remember correctly the FII was a very popular cube in its time and a lot of people used it as their main. I don't think I ever did because I went from using a Type A to an Alpha V but I do remember it being one of my top 5 3x3s. I have a blue and pink FI and a black FII. I prefer the FII over the FI but I find myself using my blue FI more than the other two. But if I had to pick one I'd probably go with the FII.
