I'm prolly soon going to get a Type D DIY cube from Cube4you..

I'm just wondering which colour is the best?

Which do you prefer?..

some people like Badmephisto on youtube said that White type D are now really bad for some reason.

So wondering which colour should I get.

※P.S BTW, why is Type D Yuga?

well... you cant GET the old type D from cube4you.

trust me, its not worth it. i bought a new black one, restickered it, gave it an old A core, contact cleaned the parts (polishes the parts suprisingly well - makes a storebought turn amazingly compared to what they do normally) and lubed it and...

its not a great cube. turns pretty fast, but locks up too much, and you CANNOT keep it tight because of the new screws. a friend replaced the screws with the replacement set from c4u and still it feels like crap.

if you are getting anything from c4you, get a type C or A.
i love A IIs, but are loathe to recommend them as they can be erratic.

if you really, really want a D, get the 9spuzzles one.
if you want a good cube, get a C or A from c4u (providing you really want to buy from c4u - they arent brilliant at being quick OR reliable).

Since I have Black A(the first one) from C4Y

I might get Type C or from puzl.co.uk

If your buying from puzl.co.uk which cube is the best for 3x3x3?
the Centre piece sounds rather loose because they say to put a dab of super glue.

If you get a black or white Type D from Cube4you, you will get the Type D with the new, bad screws. They are horrible. The screws come out and even with loctite they don't turn as good as the old Type Ds. However, the other colors MIGHT have the old screws, not sure.

The Type Ds (also known as Yugas) from 9spuzzles have the old, good screws. They turn well and the screws don't come out.

the competition std speedcubes from puzl.co.uk have a very, very good reputation. i think there is a good reason why they ask for over a tenner.

i think all the choices are very good (dealextreme C, puzl cube, 9spuzzles D), but i personally would go for the puzl.co.uk cube. even though they are more expensive, the cube and the seller are extremely reliable, whereas dealextreme can be quite unreliable - they sent my Chukk a rubbish cube instead of a megaminx, and he has been waiting for over 2 months for the megaminx now.
