Turning style?

however you turn during a solve.
"aggressive" is rough alignment and just trusting that the cube will cornercut the gap you create by not waiting for the cube to line up.
"smooth" is a slowish, but more alignment focused turning, where you just kind of flow through a solve
I'm confident about the aggressive because it took me most of my time cubing to adjust my rough+high TPS 20 second solves to a mid TPS 14 second solver

"Rough turning" is just a feel-good word for under developed finger tricks. I don't believe that there's a set of turning styles beside the varying mobility of each individual. What *does* exist is skill in optimal finger tricks and optimal applications for solving styles. What I mean by solving style is optimising your fingering for your unique approach to solving.
I'd say turning style is a myth, but make sure you optimise what skills you do have to the way you approach solving.

I've heard people say "I have an aggressive turning style." but what does that mean? Which turning styles are there? How can I figure out my turning style?
Every cuber has natively aggresive turning style.

With more practice and grace, your turning style becomes smoother and one day God level smooth like SHN.
