So I've been cubing for over 4 years now, and the only 3x3 methods I've used as my main methods are LBL/Beginners' and CFOP. I'm sub-13.5 with CFOP now, too. I have 2 problems, though. One, I've found that I haven't really been improving much, I've been stuck around this time for a while now. It feels like I've been just in the sub-15 range for an eternity. That may be since I'm not doing much of just practicing lookahead and eliminating pauses and things like that, however. Two, I find that I'm just bored with the method in general, I feel like every solve is the same.
I'm thinking of switching to a new method, probably either Roux or ZZ. I have a lot of fun with Roux but I'm terrible with blockbuilding (I just build F2L pairs) and I'm slow at LSE. I'd still need to learn the CMLL algs also. With ZZ, I'm terrible at EOLine and again I'm not good with blockbuilding, but I like how ZZF2L is only L/U/R. But I'm kinda sick of last layer as a step to be honest. But with ZZ I think I enjoy EOLine more than Roux first block, maybe because it's more similar to Cross, which I'm more used to, but I don't know for sure.
What should I do? LMCF would be cool too, but that hasn't been developed nearly as much as Roux and ZZ and I don't want to have to be great at 2x2 to be good with 3x3.
I'll probably go with Roux if I switch, but other opinions would be nice.

I've toyed with switching to ZZ. It's a pretty elegant method, in my opinion. I might at some point learn ZZ-CT if I ever want to get serious about 3x3, but at this point I enjoy big cubes too much to make it worthwhile to use anything but CFOP. I know the basic principles of roux, but ZZ- or even Petrus-style blockbuilding just makes so much more sense to me.

The problem I've run into with learning new methods is when I switch back and forth between them a bajillion times. Don't do that. I use Roux, but ZZ for OH. They're both great, with their own pros and cons. There are definitely other viable options.

I had the same problem before I changed to Roux. Every solve was just the same, but after just some solves, I found new fun in 3x3.
Now the method I use just depends on my mood, which I think is the best if you go for the most fun.(Fortunitely I'm equally bad at CFOP, Roux, Petrus and some creative FreeFOP)

Hoping this is helpful for your decition

CFOP is like English, it is vernacular, and it lacks in efficiency.
Roux is tough to get high TPS, but once we start getting efficient solves in it at high TPS, the reward is worth the wait.
One should switch to Roux only if they are into speedcubing for the long run!

zz is imo a better idea, it is as good as cfop currently but the ll hasnt been refined yet and will undoubtedly get better

If you are looking for a new method and your choice was ZZ or Roux, I would say pick Roux, no brainer. Way faster potential and so many ways to innovate. Plus, once you learn CMLL, you can (just for fun) do Waterman solves using the CMLL's instead of CLL's (build the 1st Roux block as usual, then finish the corners, then finish mostly intuitively). You can also use CMLL's for LMCF if you want to tinker, although they are not quite as short as pure CLL algorithms. You could also branch off to WaterRoux, 42, Tyrannical Caterpillar, Pinkie Pie, ZBRoux.
