Tourny Question

So i am going to the speed cubing tourny at the end of the month in Toronto..and i signed up for the 3x3. i was just wondering..how it works..like im not very good so will i get 1 solve, not make it the next round than go home? my average is like 28 sec

What will happen is you'll go in, register at the desk, and there will be sheets on the wall showing which heat you're in. When your heat is called you go up to the scrambling table and leave your cube on the card with your name on it. Then you wait in the area for your name to be called by a judge, and go to the table they're at, and do your solve. After, they'll take your cube and you go to wait again.

After your 5 solves, if you're in the top 25 you make it to the next round, if not, feel free to leave, but you'll have a lot more fun if you hang around and talk to some other cubers.

Yeah, there's a merchandise table that opens after the registration table closes, but get there early, because it sells out fast.

You might want to move to the WCA competitons section in this forum, since there's a thread already there about this competition.
