Well my LBL average dropped below 1min 20 sec , but i still think i am very very slow . I have been cubing from abt 2 months but still haven't got my time under 1min. So what should i do? learn a new method?currently i use the LBL method :o

Or practise more.

Well he's at the point where most people learn an advanced method.
If you get too good with the beginner's, it might be hard to switch to a different method.
Why would it be hard?

Some people say its hard (they got sub 50 times with it). It wasn't hard for me though.

I guess if you use LBL for a long time then switch to a block building method, it might be kinda awkward to get used to.

Because you're so used to doing it the LBL way. I learned f2l 2 weeks after I first solved the cube, so I wouldn't have a hard time transitioning. Maybe it's the same case here.

If you are interested in fridrich: http://www.youtube.com/badmephisto

All you'll ever need.

Edit: F*ck! I hate when people ninja me!

Initiative? You mean intuitive lol.
Just practice, my times went way worse when I started using it, then they dropped. Alot.

yes intuitive method sorry :D , you have learned all the algo's of F2l or you do the it the intuitive way?

The jump in times is normal for intuitive (note- intuitive, not initiative) F2L. If you have decided to stick with Fridrich, just keep up with your practice of F2L, and your times will eventually go down.

EDIT: Ignore me, my computer wasn't displaying all the responses to your post.

it isn't necessary to learn algs for f2l. In my opinion, you should develop your own algs that work for you.
