Is inspection time too long or too short in your opinion?

I still wish we had gone with no inspection from the very start of cubing. There would be no problem with old records and we would be counting the total time required to solve the puzzle. Mentally, you start solving the puzzle as soon as you start to see it, so I think inspection time should count as solving time. But since records already exist, it seems like there's no way back, and besides, it seems like almost no one else agrees with me.

I mean, I get this, but at this point, yeah. Anyway, solve times would be much slower without it. (No cross+3 or whatever for the advanced solvers)

but 4x4 is awsome!

I love the physics and love everything about 4x4 but have a terrible 4x4. I just smile and say that Caleb has a worse one than me. Inspecting 4x4 is easy and your first two centers and I used to enjoy it

Really, at this point, I think we all agree 15 is the best amount ig. Not too long, or too short.

Geez, I don’t even know how I was able to read through some of these posts. Genuinely, some of you guys have the worse takes ever. I do agree with the no inspection thing, but I also don’t mind the 15 second inspection. To the people arguing about big cube inspection, holy crap, you guys definitely don’t know how to use your inspection time properly. 15 seconds inspection time should stay the same for 2x2, 3x3, and every other WCA event. (Other than bld and whatnot)
